My Story

My name is Scott Christ and I guess you could describe me as a "health enthusiast." My story, which I'll keep short and sweet, is one you've probably heard before, and it goes something like this:

In my younger years, I could eat whatever I wanted and not gain a pound (yes, I was one of "those people" who everyone despises). I was always athletic and involved in sports too, which helped keep me in fairly good shape.

Over the years, my activity level eventually began to slow down and my unhealthy habits reared their ugly head: I smoked, I drank, and I lived off a steady diet of fast food, beer, and soda. By the time I got out of college I was out of shape, I ate like crap, and my body fat had skyrocketed to over 20%.

This led me to make some gradual changes. I started working out again, doing a combination of weightlifting and cardio. I was doing fine for a while, but I was progressing very slowly and could not seem to "get over the hump" and really get where I wanted to be health-wise.

Then I decided to start teaching myself about nutrition and exercise by reading books, health journals, magazines, newsletters, websites ... anything I could get my hands on.

My work in the Healthcare industry as a Researcher and Writer also allowed me to study the science and psychology behind healthy and unhealthy behaviors.

In addition to researching and reading about health and nutrition, I decided to try every healthy eating plan, diet, and exercise program you can think of. I stumbled gracelessly … but I learned a lot along the way. I figured out first-hand what works ... and what doesn't work.

The result: in the past year alone, I have lost 20 pounds and lowered my body fat percentage from 17% to 6%.

The interesting thing is, my goal was never to lose weight ... I was just trying to get back in shape and educate myself about my health. But after years of trial and error, I finally found THE "SECRET" TO LOSING WEIGHT AND GAINING LEAN MUSCLE, and I didn't do it by going on a diet, starving myself, or exercising two hours a day.

It isn't easy and it probably involves some modifications to what you're currently doing, but the payoff is your health, something most of us take for granted.

I took everything I learned and did a few different things:


1. I started by creating this website, The Healthy Eating Guide.

2. Then I wrote an eBook called Diets Don't Work.

3. Now, I’m looking forward to helping others succeed with my new Health Coaching Training business.
