Healthy Balsamic Salmon

Balsamic Salmon

Ingredients:

1 lb. Salmon (cut into 4 fillets)

1/4 cup Balsamic Vinegar

3 tsp. Dijon Mustard

1 T Honey

1 T White Wine

3 Garlic Cloves (minced)

1 T Fresh Basil

1 tsp. Olive Oil

1/4 tsp. Salt and Pepper


Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Top a broiler pan with foil and spray the cop with olive oil or canola oil cooking spray. Heat olive oil in sauce pan over medium heat, add garlic and cook for 3-4 minutes until tender. Lower heat and add white wine, balsamic vinegar, honey, mustard, salt and pepper and simmer for 4-5 minutes until sauce thickens. Place salmon on top of foil and brush with the glaze from the pan. Cook for 12-14 minutes, coat cooked fillets with left over glaze, top with basil and serve.
