Arbys is at the bottom of the bunch when it comes to offering healthier menu choices. With their highly processed, sodium-filled meats and cheeses, Arbys has a ton of menu items that can be detrimental to your health. Their “Market Fresh” sandwiches are nowhere near healthy—even though they do a nice job of making them appear healthy in their advertising. If you must eat at Arbys, stick to the choices below and you’ll save yourself lots of calories, fat, and added pounds!
• Chicken Filet Sandwich - Roast: 383 calories, 37g carbs, 16g fat, 3g saturated fat, 921mg sodium • Popcorn Chicken - Regular: 363 calories, 27g carbs, 16g fat, 3g saturated fat, 930mg sodium • Ham and Swiss Melt Sandwich: 268 calories, 35g carbs, 8g fat, 3g saturated fat, 1042mg sodium • Chopped Farmhouse Chicken – Grilled (w/ no cheese and Balsamic dressing): 246 calories, 16g fat, 4 saturated fat, 860mg sodium • Chopped Turkey Club Salad (w/ no cheese and Dijon Honey Mustard dressing): 297 calories, 21g fat, 4g saturated fat, 862mg sodium
Bottom Line: Arby’s is at the bottom of the pack. As you can see from the list above, we don’t recommend any of their “Market Fresh” sandwiches, unless you order them without cheese or sauce. It’s time for Arby’s to step up their game and start offering some healthier menu options like their competitors.
